How is this different from the ATS Checker?+
The ATS Checker grades how well a bot can read your resume — formatting, keywords, parseability. This Recruiter Score grades how a human recruiter judges the writing quality — action verbs, quantification, impact statements. You need both to win.
What does the score actually measure?+
It looks at six things a recruiter reacts to: action verb strength, quantification, impact-vs-duty framing, passive voice, bullet length and formatting consistency. Those are what the model is asked to weigh — it returns one overall judgement, not a per-dimension calculation, so treat it as an informed opinion rather than a measurement.
Can I submit just a text-only resume?+
Currently the tool accepts PDF and DOCX. Plain text resumes will be supported soon — for now, paste your resume content into a Word doc and upload that.
Is this scored by a real recruiter?+
No. It is a language model prompted to read your résumé the way a senior recruiter would. It was not trained on a corpus of recruiter-rated résumés, and it is not the engine that scores your job matches — that is a different prompt. Two runs on the same file can differ; the issues it names are the useful part.
What happens after I sign up?+
